It's that time of year again… time for Planet Comicon in Kansas City this weekend! This is always a really great show that just gets better and better every year. In fact, this year is going to definitely be the biggest one ever with tons of new guests.
We'll be setup there, as usual, with comics, prints, and more for you to check out, and of course we'll be doing commissions again. I just uploaded a new print I just finished for this year… the Mt. Rushmore of Evil! This drawing was a request from my brother-in-law, and it was a heck of a lot of fun to work on. I hope you dig it.

Want a custom drawing of your favorite character? Well, now is your chance! Many of you have requested an art commission from me at one of the conventions, but it's been a while since I've offered those online.
As you can see below, you can request a drawing from me in a variety of styles. Both shipping and a high-resolution scan of the artwork are included in the price. Commissions are drawn in the order they are received. Please allow at least 1-3 weeks for completion, depending on color and complexity.

Rook City is BACK!
Well, after a massively long delay, our Rook City webcomic will once again be updating regularly at least for the next month or so as we finish off the “Convention Blues” storyline. 21 new pages will eventually be posted, making this by far the longest Rook City tale as of yet. The pages are all done (and even sent off to the printer) and will be posted one per weekday until the story concludes (except today when you get two pages and the cover). The story will see print in Rook City #2, which will premiere at Planet Comicon next month!
Why the delay in finishing this story? Well, the main reason is that I got pulled away into a

Happy New Year! It's been a while… sorry about that. No posts since July is pretty inexcusable. Ironically, I have probably produced more artwork in the last year or so than any other year. In addition to the work for Glacier National Park, I have been doing more and more freelance illustration work, including five different children's books and a collectible card game, but for contractual reasons I can't show most of it here on our site. The downside is that my time for our own comics has decreased. But that is about to change.
